Coding and Robotics

CAPS Coding and Robotics is structured across four strands at every grade level: Algorithms and Coding, Robotics Skills, Internet and E-communication, and Application Skills. Foundation Phase (1-3) introduces pattern recognition, block-based coding on Scratch, simple robotics concepts (gears, pulleys, basic circuits), and digital safety. Intermediate Phase (4-6) moves into variables, conditional statements, loops, microcontrollers, and applications like multimedia editing and computer-aided drawing. Senior Phase (7-9) introduces line-based programming, HTML and CSS, advanced robotics, AI and machine learning, and digital ethics.
